Hadra Trance Festival 2026
In the interests of transparency and to raise awareness of the actual production costs of a French festival that is 98% self-funded, we are sharing the breakdown of the price of your 4-day Pass.
The Hadra Trance Festival is run by a non-profit organisation. Every euro is reinvested in the festival-goers’ experience and in the organisation’s projects.
What does the €190 4-day pass cover?

🛠️ Site: Groundwork, Site Development & Safety = €66.58
Building and protecting
What this includes: site hire and layout, car parks, toilets and showers, water and electricity networks and, above all, the mandatory safety and emergency services (first aiders, doctors and RDRs, security staff) + the salaries of site technicians.
This is the price of your peace of mind and the basic infrastructure needed to welcome you for four days.
🎸Artistic: Stages & Technical = €38.93
Keeping the festival’s heart beating
What this covers: the music line-up, the stage sets, as well as the wages of all the behind-the-scenes technicians (sound, lighting, stage structures) who make the magic happen.
⚙️ Production = €35.89
The fuel needed to ensure everything runs smoothly on site
What this covers: accommodation and meals for hundreds of volunteers and staff, the salaries of those in charge of production, petrol and other travel expenses for the team, insurance, and merchandising. Without volunteers, there is no festival, and ensuring they are well looked after is essential.
🤗 Team & Overhead Costs = €31.63
An association that works all year round
What this covers: salaries for the permanent team, office costs, administrative and banking fees.
To ensure the festival takes place in August, a team works from September to July to get everything ready.
⚖️ Copyright fees & Performance tax = €10.59
Our contribution to the cultural sector
What this covers: the performance tax (CNM) and copyright fees (SACEM) paid to support musical creation.
A mandatory contribution that supports the cultural ecosystem beyond our festival.
🌱 Eco-Social Commitment, promoting equality and combating violence = €4.82
Investing in a Solar Punk future
What this covers: Comprehensive waste management, festival shuttle buses, the cycling scheme, carpooling, as well as our inclusion and social prevention initiatives, including the Inaya scheme which combats sexist, sexual and discriminatory violence.
We invest nearly €5 per ticket to reduce our impact and make the festival more responsible, inclusive and caring.
📣 Communication = €1.56
The bare essentials to keep you informed and promote our values
What this includes: the artwork and its variations, the web server, event promotion, photographers and videographers.
