TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Festival-goers’ travel accounts for the largest share of the festival’s environmental impact. (Cars account for 57% and trucks for 51% of the overall impact)
In 2023, CO2 emissions from audience transportation alone totaled 563 metric tons of CO2 equivalent, or 60 kg of CO2 per person. And things aren’t getting any better… because in 2022, transportation-related emissions were 52 kg of CO2 per person.
