Values and commitments

Kindness

We are all responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our festival. Hadra Trance Festival must remain free from all forms of oppression—a space for sharing, conviviality, and friendship, where every festivalgoer feels safe and welcome.

We are committed to providing a space where everyone feels welcome and respected. Through prevention initiatives and harm reduction, we ensure that everyone can enjoy the party in complete serenity.

We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels respected and included. Through prevention initiatives and harm reduction strategies, we work to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the festival in a secure and serene atmosphere.

We invite everyone to look out for one another, among friends and even among strangers, fostering tolerance and respect for each other’s differences. Hadra Trance Festival condemns any inappropriate behavior and all forms of discrimination—we must do everything to ensure that everyone feels safe in a caring and welcoming space.

If you witness any concerning behavior—violence, harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate gestures—do not hesitate to reach out to our staff, the Inaya Team, the Inaya Refuge, and/or security personnel. We are all here to support you and intervene when necessary.

Against Homophobic, Sexist, and Sexual Violence

We are fully aware that harassment and gender-based or sexual violence exist everywhere, including within our festival spaces. Since 2018, Hadra has strengthened its efforts to promote safety, respect, and inclusivity, actively combating sexist and sexual violence.

The new INAYA team will ensure that this benevolence is maintained! The principle: a team of volunteers trained in the fight against sexist and sexual violence will be on the prowl throughout the festival. Easily identifiable, they will be able to respond to any requests or suspicions of harassment or violence.

  • TEAM INAYA’s objectives :
Maintain a constant presence to reassure, but also to intervene or call in others if necessary
  • Remain vigilant to spot any violent situation or problematic act
  • Help victims and liaise with the appropriate people (prevention associations and people trained in taking testimony)
  • Immediately gather information from witnesses and victims, and contact the appropriate people (prevention associations, security guards, organizers, etc.)
  • Provide support and assistance to people in need

A dedicated team and safe space designed to offer support, guidance, and intervention to festivalgoers in distress or experiencing any form of discrimination or violence.

A team available to accompany festivalgoers safely across the site, particularly at night, ensuring everyone moves through the festival with confidence and security.

ABOUT CHOSEN MIXITY & FESTIVAL VALUES

This space exists because we recognize the systemic violence that affects women and gender minorities. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space for those who need it.

At Hadra, we respect self-determination and gender identity. We do not ask for gender identity confirmation on the registration form or upon wristband collection. However, you may receive a confirmation email regarding your registration.

We ask all campers to respect the principles of inclusivity and support, even if they do not fully understand each other’s experiences. Please do not question the legitimacy of others in this space.

🤝 If you have any doubts or questions, you are welcome to speak with the “Serein.e.s” support team.

🛑 No space is entirely free from oppression. If you feel uncomfortable or experience any form of violence—even within Inaya Camping—please reach out to the Serein.e.s team for support.

📍 For more information or to register, visit the Inaya Refuge during the festival.

A collective dedicated to support, awareness, and protection in festival spaces, ensuring safety and inclusivity for all.

PREVENTION & PROTECTION IN FESTIVAL SETTINGS

Harm reduction (HR) and prevention strategies are key to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. HR involves minimizing potential risks at festivals—not just those related to substance use but also road safety, gender-based and sexual violence (GBSV), and noise exposure.

We remind you that prolonged exposure to high noise levels can be harmful to your health. To protect festivalgoers:

🔹 Free disposable earplugs are available at the prevention booth and the Hadra stand.
🔹 Proper earplug use is essential—incorrect usage reduces effectiveness. Follow our tutorial on how to wear them correctly.

🎧 For children, noise-canceling headphones are available at the Hadra stand (a valid ID is required as a deposit).

💙 Take care of yourself—continuous exposure to loud sounds can lead to long-term hearing damage.

Rather than condemning or banning, our strategy focuses on raising awareness, educating and providing resources to help everyone make informed and safe choices. Prevention materials such as breathalysers, condoms and earplugs are available throughout the festival. Clear and accessible information on potential risks and how to minimize them is also provided by numerous prevention structures.
