Values and commitments

Open-minded

Since settling in the Allier region in 2016, Hadra has flourished, building a strong relationship with the Community of Communes of Bocage Bourbonnais and the Municipality of Vieure. This collaboration is historic for the association, as Hadra has never before been hosted for such an extended period in the same location!

ON-SITE INITIATIVES

“La Loco” is back and expanding! This year, a full market of artisans, producers, artists, creators, and associations from Bocage Bourbonnais will be featured, showcasing local initiatives and craftsmanship.

At La Loco’s grocery section, you’ll find fresh produce, cheese, bread, and hygiene & wellness products. Across the market, you can learn pottery, taste spirulina, craft handmade soaps, meet eco-community members, and even try wool weaving!

To support sustainable local exchange, the only accepted currency at La Loco will be Le Soudicy, the region’s local currency. You can exchange your euros for Soudicy at their stand in the market, helping to promote alternative economies and ethical consumerism.

In collaboration with Soudicy and Karton Blanc, Hadra is co-developing an experimental economic model, proving that temporary events can also drive long-term sustainable change.

📍 Join the movement—visit the Soudicy exchange booth and be part of this alternative adventure!

During the festival, Le Soudicy will be the official currency at:
✅ La Loco local market
✅ The festival bar (at the drink token stand)
✅ Food stalls and other participating vendors

Conversion rate: €1 = 1 Soudicy (S)

At the end of the festival, you can exchange your remaining Soudicy for euros at the currency exchange counter in the market.

What is a local currency?

Local currencies, like Le Soudicy, are alternative economic tools used in specific regions to:
✔ Promote local businesses and short supply chains
✔ Reduce environmental impact by supporting local producers
✔ Encourage community-based economic alternatives

Using Le Soudicy helps support the local economy of Allier while rethinking our relationship with money and sustainability.

If you have extra time after the festival, Bocage Bourbonnais has much to offer! From outdoor sports and historical landmarks to local culinary experiences, there’s plenty to explore.

📍 Visit La Loco’s tourism stand, where the local Tourist Office will share tips and must-see destinations.

Fell in love with the region? You can even meet representatives from Bocage Bourbonnais to discuss potential relocation or local projects—a great way to shorten your trip to Hadra Trance Festival next year!

EDUCATIONAL & SOCIAL INITIATIVES

Hadra has partnered with Sagess, an association that organizes educational work programs for at-risk youth throughout the year.

As part of this initiative, young participants will experience the festival from behind the scenes, engaging in tasks such as:

  •  Signage and logistics
  •  Catering assistance
  •  Artist hospitality preparation
  •  Environmental & social responsibility projects with the Agama team

By offering hands-on experience, we hope to introduce these youth to the world of festival organization, fostering professional and social skills.

BEYOND THE FESTIVAL

With its rich cultural scene, the Bocage Bourbonnais region hosts over 45,000 festivalgoers annually through various events. To celebrate this vibrancy, the region launched “Bocage Festif”, uniting eight major festivals:

  • Carnaval d’Ygrande
  • Jazz dans le Bocage
  • Classique en Bocage
  • Tronget en Fête
  • Légendes & Détours at Château de l’Augère
  • Go Ba’s Festival
  • Hadra Trance Festival

Bocage Festif is more than just an initiative—it’s a unique human collaboration. Local authorities and festival organizers work together to enhance event logistics, share knowledge, and highlight the role of volunteers who keep these festivals alive.

This initiative proudly showcases the Bocage Bourbonnais region’s cultural and social dynamism!

Hadra is actively involved in the cultural life of Vieure, contributing to local events:

  • Fête de la Musique 2022:
  • Public community meeting
  •  DJing workshop for children
  •  “Hadra 20 Years” retrospective exhibition

 2023 Decoration Project:

Hadra’s decoration teams hosted a scenography workshop for local children, whose creations were later displayed during the festival!

By sharing knowledge and fostering creativity, Hadra aims to strengthen its connection with the local community.

  • Since 2016, Hadra TranceMission has developed numerous projects in Bocage Bourbonnais to:
  •  Respond to increasing cultural demand
  •  Reach new audiences
  •  Collaborate with local creative communities

PARTNERSHIP WITH ADÉQUAT

Hadra TranceMission collaborates with Adéquat, a leisure and childcare center in Bocage Bourbonnais, offering electronic music workshops for children during school holidays.

  •  These workshops introduce kids to:
  •  The fundamentals of electronic music
  •  Hands-on experience with music production & live performance
  •  Sound design using machines, instruments, and surrounding sounds

By bringing music education into the community, Hadra aims to inspire creativity and artistic discovery beyond the festival.
